It’s been awhile since we’ve heard stuff about MK vs. DC. There are going to be four new characters introduced to the title: Wonder Woman, Raiden, Kano and Deathstroke. In the video, you can check out Joker’s fatality move in the video, it’s a killer move. This title launches November 10th, 2008 and will be on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. After the jump, a couple images of the characters we’ll be seeing.
You’ve probably been waiting to see something like this longer than I have. I’m not a big fan of strategy games although I did grow up playing Starcraft and Warcraft. The whole idea of playing a strategy game on consoles just boggle my mind. Probably because I started off playing on a desktop. Anyways, this is the box art for Halo Wars. It phased me for a second when I saw multiple Master Chiefs.
I thought I might share something fun this weekend. This here was a glitch originally on EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 posted on YouTube roughly a year back in 2007. EA saw the glitch and created their own version of the video. Take a look.
It’s been awhile since we’ve seen some material from the Resident Evil series. Better yet, we’ve never seen anything for the 360 console. This is going to be the first RE ever to hit the 360. Excited? Well, maybe you should be because everything you see in the trailer is in-game, besides the obvious cinematic stuff.
Be sure to check this one out. I’ve got the game pre-ordered and it’ll be in stores September 16th. There’s much hype about this game and many are disappointed that there’s no multiplayer on this title release, but think about all those other great games that don’t have multiplayer that are a huge success. Metal Gear Solid, Zelda, BioShock, Assassin’s Creed. A game doesn’t always need to have multiplayer.
“The demo takes place during one of the first levels in the game, known as the “TIE Fighter Construction Facility” — we assume it’s the same area featured in the recent batch of previews for the title. It will also contain a training mode which will allow the player to get a firm grasp on the Force Grip power.” Source
Fable II Pub Games is coming tomorrow. If you pre-ordered the game, you get a pre-order bonus (you’ll know what I’m talking about if you pre-ordered from Gamestop). Basically get a head start on Fable II by earning gold which will be transferable to the actual game. There will be 3 mini-games where you can win 15 items and unlock 15 pieces of concept art. With the gold earn in pub games, you’ll be able to purchase things such as weapons, armors, etc. Also, if you don’t plan on ordering, this will be available on the marketplace for $10 (800MS points).
If just found this today and it looks like an interesting concept. It’s a game titled Mirror’s Edge and it’s a FPS type action/adventure game. Not sure how much of it is different from Assassin’s Creed style of gameplay, but they’re running on the DICE engine. You play as a free runner who does missions running across roof buildings, inside buildings, and underground. It’s scheduled to be released before the end of this year.
EA announced today that they will have the sequel to Godfather coming in 2009. As The Don you control the family, sending your men on missions while heading off into action with others.
“The Godfather II expands on the popular gameplay mechanics of the first game and doubles down on the series’ signature BlackHand control scheme, which now features even more visceral hand-to-hand brutality at your fingertips, introducing a new combo system, pressure tactics and executions. In The Godfather II, players will fight alongside their hand-picked crew, who have their own skills and expertise. Each family member specializes in a specific field such as demolitions, arson, engineering, first-aid and more.”
Be sure to check out The Godfather II on Friday, August 15th on Spike TV. The entire episode will be dedicated to The Godfather II including behind-the-scenes, the debut of the trailer and a look into the game. Source
